Gagarin Pavillon

The Gagarin Pavillon is a historical place in the city of Baikonur. On this place, close to the Syr-Darya river, a meeting of the State Commission with the first cosmonaut corps was held on April 10, 1961. At this meeting Yuri A. Gagarin was offically confirmed as the first cosmonaut of the USSR who will fly to space.
